FosterSoft’s 2014 Annual Fundraiser on Behalf of Georgetown Lombardi
We are truly grateful for the generous turnout to FosterSoft’s 2nd Annual Fundraiser on behalf of Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center.
We would like to extend a sincere thank you for the show of support we received during the event. It was a fantastic gathering, full of great fun, delicious food, wonderful auction items, and plenty of creative conversation. Together with your support, FosterSoft has raised more than $25,000.00 to date, which will be donated in support of the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center’s critical research.
On September 10, 2014 — The National Cancer Institute (NCI) awarded a five-year, $11.25 million P30 Cancer Center Support Grant to Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, and renewed its designation as a “comprehensive cancer center.”
Federal designation as a comprehensive cancer center indicates that Georgetown Lombardi excels in laboratory science, clinical research and population-based programs, along with robust translational research that bridges these areas. It also demonstrates expansive public education and outreach capabilities, focusing on the Washington, D.C. community which the cancer center serves.
A special thanks goes out to all of our generous patron donors: Gerald Boyd, President, DB Consulting; Shannon Q Holy, Legal Consultant, Medical Litigations; Ray Miller, Legal Consultant, Benefits Resources, Inc.; Carol & Cory Bonney, Inn at Horn Point.
A special thanks goes out to all of our generous individual donors: Fit For You Personal Training, William and Amy Jeffries, Judy Burnam, Robert Cooper, David Smylie, Jerome Davis, Kenneth Brewers, Ernie Crossland, Steven Solow, Dr. Norman Anderson, Neal Hughes, Michael Fauntroy, Anna Huyett, Kristine Walters, Donna Dean, James McDonald.
These services and research would not be possible without the support of individuals like you. Thank you again for your contribution. It was truly a pleasure having you share our event.
